Highlights from Boston & The Cape

Earlier this summer I took my first ever trip over to Boston and Cape Cod. I was there for a long weekend, so I didn't have too much time to explore, but nonetheless I did get a lot in! Sharing some of my faves from this trip below:

The Cape

Shops I went to:
  • Clove + Creek: a really cute shop that had so many well-made home trinkets. I ended up getting an enamel soap dish as a little travel memorabilia token from the trip.

  • Tourist shops: I dont remember the exact names of them, but I popped into a few and ended up getting a classic Cape Cod crewneck sweatshirt which I've been wearing nonstop since I got home.

Things I did:
  • Walk around town: I was in p-town so walking the main street didn't take too long, as I imagine is the case with many parts of Cape Cod. It was so lovely to just walk around and look at the different shops and houses and hydrangea bushes.

  • Piano bars: Since we were there for a bachelorette there were lots of drinks and dancing at various piano and karaoke bars. I'd be lying if I said I knew the names of where we went, but if you find yourself out for an evening you can just walk around town and pop in here and there, wherever the wind takes you!

Places I ate:
  • Joe Coffee: very tasty (and popular) coffee shop! The coffee was good, but the pastries were incredible!

  • Bubbalas: Felt like a very to-theme place for dinner! Good food and good drinks.

Where I stayed:
  • Dune Crest Hotel: Made up of a few different cabins, this hotel was a great spot for a bachelorette party. Not too expensive, but still had great views and clean rooms. If you stay here you will have to catch a taxi into town so keep that in mind!

Boston

Things I did:
  • Boston Commons and Boston Public Gardens: both so beautiful to walk around between meals or to bring a book to and just sit on the grass for a while.

  • Beacon Hill: I only walked though the main street, but would have loved to spend more time here just walking around looking at all the different neighborhood houses. It was so darling!

  • Boston Harbor: One of the girls I was with had a family boat so we were able to enjoy a sushi dinner docked by the pier which was so lovely to enjoy! There are also mini taxi boats going across the harbor (at least while they fix the tunnels) and they were so fun! I recommend taking one if you can.

  • Quincy Market: We had a very touristy walk through the old market grounds after brunch one day, I think my favorite part was seeing the street performers singing and playing music.

Places I ate:
  • Tatte Bakery: I posted on my instagram stories asking for recommendations for Boston and I think I got over 50 people telling me to go to Tatte. I did end up going and it was very delicious!

  • Life Alive Cafe: such a great option for vegetarians! The food was incredible. I would definitely go back.

  • North End: I cant remember where it was exactly, but I got cannolis from some Italian bakery in North End, they were so delicious!

Where I stayed:
  • The Four Seasons Boston: I was hosted at the Four Seasons Boston which was such a treat! It's located right across from Boston Gardens which was an amazing location, the bed was super comfortable, the restaurant and bar were spectacular, and "the vault" (which was a room on every floor for free snacks and drinks) was such a fun treat. If you ever have the chance to stay at this Four Seasons don't pass it up!

As far as cities go, I really enjoyed Boston and I hope to go back to spend more time there in the future. I also loved The Cape and hope to go back to explore more of the island (and surrounding islands) soon!

Stay tuned for more cozy travels,

xx
