This piece was inspired by a video I saw online encouraging folks to paint their house rules on a canvas for their home. Later, after a late night spent on Pinterest, I found out that the original version of this idea was created by someone who lived with a 61 year old artist who encouraged the people renting rooms from him to paint on the walls of the rooms they rented out. It's been interesting to follow this concept and see how it adapts from person to person. Some are a little more general "be kind" "dance" "be honest" etc... My personal adaptation was created with the intention to make home feel like a safe space, and make it big and bold for others to know it when they stepped inside. My intention was to create this just for me, but after I shared it on social media there was a high demand for print copies because it resonated so much with others. We spend so much time at home, it's important to make it feel like it's our space with our values surrounding us, so I get it. We all want to feel like our #emotionsok.
This original painting was photographed and turned to print format, printed on museum-quality fine art giclée, archival, acid-free, and durable matte paper. Please note I also have original paintings available for purchase as well.
Please note that it might take about 3 weeks to get your order. Because I am a smaller business and prints are not my main income, I use a drop ship company so once an order is placed the print is created, processed and then shipped out. This allows me to share my art, but it is a slower process. Thank you for understanding and for your patience!
