IMAGE - PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

It's always good to have new photos highlighting your product or service on rotation. While sticking to brand guidelines, a new perspective or location can speak to different audience segments furthering your reach. Product highlights are also a great way to aid specific campaigns (i.e. summer campaign, but HQ is based in the mountains? No worries, I got you covered).

IMAGE - PRODUCT PLACEMENT

UGC at it's finest features the product without the consumer feeling like they're being sold to. Whether it's being styled in home, on body, or somewhere in between, organically showcasing the product in a way that the consumer can picture themselves using it is king when it comes to marketing.

VIDEO - BEFORE + AFTER

The anticipation kills! People are generally curious and want to stick around for an end result. Whether it's before and after with makeup, home furnishing, a meal, destination, or anything in between, people love results and transition before and after videos are a great way to showcase how your product/service can be a benefit to someone's life.

VIDEO - PRODUCT HIGHLIGHT

Just like a static product highlight, but in video format. Artistically there's a different kind of freedom with video (multiple frames, movement in light, etc), but also with social media moving in the direction of prioritizing video over photo, it's valuable to have varied assets that will work with the businesses goals (reach, effectiveness, engagement, education, etc) in mind and video can be a great way to do that.

Is it an ad? Is it her home? Is it a GRWM post? We don't know. And thats the point. UGC at it's finest should highlight the product in a way that doesn't make the viewer/consumer feel like they're being sold to. They want that persons lifestyle, and the product gets them closer to it.
